This study investigated the effectiveness of SWOT Analysis in assessing school management, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of an educational institution. The analysis was carried out in a high school in Ceará, with the aim of improving the actions of the management core. For this, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was used, consulting Scielo Brasil and Google Scholar and following the principles of SLR in the analysis of the results. School administration, recognized as an intricate process, required the coordination of various components to establish an efficient teaching environment. This encompassed the management of the institution’s resources, the application of educational policies, the supervision of the teaching staff and the team, interaction with parents and the community, and confirmation that students were progressing and developing effectively. The SWOT Analysis proved to be a valuable tool for school management, contributing to the improvement of the quality of education.
