Abstract: My deepest gratitude goes to Darcey, itty wife and fellow traveler, for her unwavering love and support during iny educational pursuits. Every word in this dissertation is a reflection of her devotion. I would also like to express my thanks to my father, Dwaine Deinmitt, for the moral compass he instilled in me.
