A Dynamic Scheduling Method for Carrier Aircraft Support Operation under Uncertain Conditions Based on Rolling Horizon Strategy

Abstract: The efficient scheduling of carrier aircraft support operations in the flight deck is important for battle performances. The supporting operations and maintenance processes involve multiple support resources, complex scheduling process, and multiple constraints; the efficient coordination of these processes can be considered a multi-resource constrained multi-project scheduling problem (MRCMPSP), which is a complex non-deterministic polynomial-time hard (NP-hard) problem. The renewable resources include the op… Show more

“…However when our optimization models are applied in real-world practice, it may not be possible to obtain the exact data on the number of animals entering and leaving shelters. In reality, such optimization models are solved repeatedly every day by shifting the planning horizon, which is called a rolling horizon approach [19][20][21]. Therefore, it is acceptable to use predicted values for input data.…”

Among these fixed stations, support equipment No.2 is sharing support equipment, while others are exclusive support equipment.…”
