A drawer‐conformal radio‐frequency identification antenna with vertically polarised quasi‐endfire radiation

Abstract: A radio‐frequency identification antenna with a quasi‐endfire radiation beam and a vertical polarisation is presented. A size‐reduced magnetic dipole is used as the radiation source whose radiating waves are restricted by a dual‐layer metasurface to propagate along the horizontal direction and result in an endfire pattern.
