A distributed control approach for heterogeneous linear multiagent systems

Abstract: This paper considers an internal model based distributed control approach to the cooperative output regulation problem of heterogeneous linear time-invariant multiagent systems over fixed directed communication graph topologies. First, a new definition of the linear cooperative output regulation problem is introduced in order to allow a broad class of functions to be tracked and rejected by a network of agents. Second, the solvability of this problem with three distributed control laws, namely dynamic state fe… Show more

“…The cooperative output regulation problem requires a more complicated control law than the static state feedback one. In particular, a distributed dynamic state feedback control law solves the cooperative output regulation problem 17‐21 . However, the available tools to synthesize the distributed dynamic state feedback control gains are more limited than those to synthesize the distributed static ones.…”

“…Linear MASs have been studied in various literature (Feng et al, 2021a; Li et al, 2021; Patel and Mehta, 2020; Sarsilmaz and Yucelen, 2021; Zhang et al, 2020). Furthermore, in various research articles (Belfo et al, 2021; Cai et al, 2021; Chen et al, 2020; Feng et al, 2021b; Gu et al, 2019), consensus problem for a nonlinear class of MASs has also been studied.…”
