A digitally temperature-compensated crystal oscillator with minimized phase-shifts

Abstract: 4bstract -The phase-jump's in the output signal, due to discrete nature of the load capacitance, has been analyzed for DTCXO with on-chip capacitor-switch arrays. And a one-chip DTCXO with minimized phase-jump's has been fabricated on a standard 0.25pm CMOS process. The effect of phase-jumps is minimized, by employing charge-pump circuits. And it shows trimming accuracy of about O.Zppm, which is not degraded by process variations.
