A diffusive representation approach toward H sliding mode control design for fractional-order Markovian jump systems

Abstract: This article proposes a new [Formula: see text] sliding mode control strategy for stabilizing controller design for fractional-order Markovian jump systems. The suggested approach is based on the diffusive representation of fractional-order Markovian jump systems which transforms the fractional-order system into an integer-order one. Using a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, the problem of [Formula: see text] sliding mode control of uncertain fractional-order Markovian jump systems with exogenous noise is in… Show more

“…In traditional power systems, periodic time control schemes are often used. In the time control scheme, there is a Zero Order Hold (ZOH) [ 17 ] that enables the system to balance closed-loop performance and communication load to ensure the control performance of the controller. However, this method does not take into account the update of the input signal, making the data appear cumbersome and resulting in lower network transmission performance [ 18 ].…”

“…The Markovian jump systems (MJSs) have received growing concerns due to their effective characterization of practical systems over the past years. [1][2][3] The key feature of MJSs lies in the switching between multiple modes via a given Markov chain, which is much different from single dynamic systems. Accordingly, many interesting methods have been proposed for MJSs according to specific requirements, such as a restricted controller-based stabilization scheme in Reference 4.…”

“…39 Stochastic systems have found applications in various fields of science and numerous stochastic models have been proposed to describe real-world randomly varying processes. 1012 For such systems, several Sliding Mode Control (SMC) based observation strategies have been introduced in the literature. For instance, in Ma et al 13 an adaptive sliding mode observer has been proposed to estimate the states of Itô stochastic jump systems.…”
