Abstract: Objective: This integrative review explores Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) from the perspective of developmental psychopathology, in terms of its multifaceted etiology and course. Background: Individuals affected by OCD experience intrusive and undesired thoughts accompanied by behaviors used to mitigate the unwanted images.
