“…Forward modeling method is a method of directly calculating parametric model parameters by using the target exact geometry knowledge and electromagnetic modeling technology. In 1994, Bhalla et al [94][95][96][97] from the University of Texas proposed a time-domain/imagedomain ray-tube integration technology to realize the rapid calculation of 1D/2D/3D ISAR images of the target, and to complete the rapid construction of the 3D SC models of monostatic and bistatic targets by CLEAN algorithm [98][99][100][101][102]. Compared with the inverse method, Bhalla's method [98][99][100][101][102] used the prior knowledge of the target geometry and electromagnetic scattering mechanism to calculate the 3D image of the target and the SC parameters under the point frequency and single view, avoiding a large number of swept frequency and angle radar cross section (RCS) calculation and complex parameter estimation calculation in the inverse method, which significantly improves the computational efficiency.…”
