Abstract:Data-clustering has been identified as a major problem in many areas. It aims to identify and extract meaningful groups from a very large set of data. It is a combinatorial problem, because the number of partitions that can be obtained grows exponentially with the volume of data to be classified and the number of clusters. In this paper, we deal with the problem from the perspective of distributed optimization and we present a new approach for dataclustering based on artificial ant colonies with control of eme… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
