A Curious Case of a Posterior Mediastinal Mass

Abstract: Gastrointestinal stromal cell tumors (GISTs) are mesenchymal stromal tumors that are characteristically CD117 positive. Distinction from other spindle cell tumors such as leiomyomas and leiomyosarcomas is based on clinical, histological, and molecular features.
