A Cross-National Analysis of Forced Population Resettlement in Counterinsurgency Campaigns

Abstract: This article studies the forcible relocation of large segments of the society in times of war. Theoretically, our work is based on the hearts-and-minds approach for explaining counterinsurgents’ strategies.
