A crop-weather analysis model applied to field bean

Abstract: Daily contributions to the final yields were estimated by means of a second order response surface model. The combination of an energy, a temperature and a water state term showed the greatest coefficient of determination. The particular effect on the seed yield of insolation expressed as hours of bright sunshine, was positive from emergence to the ripening period, when no water stress was present.
