A critical theory of the drone in archaeology: on space, epistemology, and automation

Abstract: This article seeks to establish a theoretical framework surrounding the drone and its use in archaeology. More than just a tool, this vehicle has revolutionized not only the practice of the discipline but also the way archaeologists approach their object of study.
