A Critical Role for Eosinophils in Allergic Airways Remodeling

Abstract: Features of chronic asthma include airway hyperresponsiveness, inflammatory infiltrates, and structural changes in the airways, termed remodeling. The contribution of eosinophils, cells associated with asthma and allergy, remains to be established.
