“…The accuracy of the simulation of the reactor flux and energy spectrum was improved by utilizing more precise calculations of corrections to the Huber model. Special care was given to the dominant contribution from antineutrinos originating from β-decays of 28 Al and 56 Mn across the entire reactor heavy water tank. Due to an improved optical model in the detector simulation as well as the exploitation of the energy spectrum of 12 B events, the energy scale of the experiment underwent a reduction of uncertainty across the entire energy range and TG volume.…”

“…There can be up to 4.5 cycles per year. The single fuel element consists of 280 curved aluminium plates enclosing the fuel, arranged in a hollow cylinder of 41 cm outer and 26 cm inner diameter by 81 cm height (for further details see [27,28]). Its compactness makes it suitable for searches of short baseline oscillations.…”

“…The RHF is designed and operated in order to extract most intense beams of cold, thermal or hot neutrons for research, in particular neutron scattering. It uses a single compact fuel element of 41 cm diameter and 80 cm height with highly enriched 235 U (enrichment of 93 %) [31]. The Stereo detector is installed at approximately 10 m from the core (center-to-center distance).…”
