This study aims to identify and analyze cultural greetings based on the linguistic structures of the Wemale and Alune tribes in Maluku. This qualitative research employs an ethnographic approach and was conducted across eight sub-districts in Western Seram Regency, Maluku Province. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). Data analysis followed Spradley's model, which comprises four phases: domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, componential analysis, and cultural theme analysis. The study identified 20 traditional greetings from the indigenous peoples in the Western Seram Regency. Ten of these greetings were recommended for official use, and six were selected as the primary cultural greetings based on the linguistic structures of the Wemale and Alune tribes. These greetings are Ho Salamate, Sou Salamate, Tabea Salamate, Mese, Upu Ana, and Sopai. This research contributes to the preservation and revitalization of the Wemale and Alune languages by proposing standardized cultural greetings that reflect the linguistic and cultural heritage of these tribes. The findings also support the integration of these greetings into local education curricula to promote cultural sustainability.

This research reviews the importance of interreligious dialogue in Islam and highlights the factors that contribute to its effectiveness. Through the analysis of a systematic literature review, it was found that the recognition of similarities between religions, the maintenance of fundamental beliefs, the avoidance of indifference to one's own religion, and the promotion of peaceful coexistence in interreligious dialogue are positively related to the public's perception of the effectiveness of the dialogue. These findings show the importance of building an inclusive and respectful dialogue environment in achieving the goals of interfaith dialogue that benefits society at large.

The Qur'anic perspective on human connections in heterogeneous communities is evaluated in this study. It conducts textual analysis as well as historical interpretation of Qur'an verses. The findings illustrate how the Qur'an plays a unique role in improving human interactions in a multicultural society by emphasizing the importance of unity, fostering brotherhood, advocating justice, protecting equality, promoting interfaith dialog and tolerance, and ensuring religious freedom for all religions, cultures, and civilizations. The study concludes by stressing that the Holy Qur'an is a comprehensive guide that promotes peaceful interfaith and multicultural interactions. It can be used as a model for resolving multicultural problems and promoting peace and harmony among people of different faiths and cultures.
