The Internet of Healthcare Things has significantly altered traditional patient-doctor relationships by allowing essential healthcare treatment from the comfort of one's home. The wireless body area network is an IEEE 802.15.6 standard that focuses on healthcare data, necessitating various cross-layer and thermal-aware protocols. However, most cross-layer protocols have long convergence delays and a single failure point. Moreover, these protocols exploit excessive broadcasts and handshake acknowledgments, causing communication and processing overheads. Furthermore, thermal-aware protocols focus on thermal variations, disperse data collection, and do not support cross-layer techniques. To address these limitations, this study proposes an optimal distributive cross-layer and thermal-aware convergecast protocol. The proposed protocol enforces a novel hybrid convergecast using probability and both minimum attenuation strategies to collect data from leaf nodes to the root to improve data flow and adaptability in the network. In addition, it accelerates the convergence process by reducing recurrent broadcasts and unnecessary acknowledgments, resulting in improved energy efficiency and thermal control. The proposed protocol supports a distributive hierarchy by establishing multiple parent-child relationships to avoid a single root point failure. A multi-parameter maximum benefit-cost function calculates the next hop according to the extracted weights. Packet loss probability validates the number and sequence of packets received at the sink node. The simulation results demonstrate that cross-layer and thermal-aware protocols can coexist effectively. The proposed protocol reduces delays to 19.4%, improves throughput from 8% to 13.75%, and retains a packet loss probability of 0.3% by keeping the thermal rise within bounds.

Due to the aging population and the growing need for hospitals and care for the elderly and limited hospital resources, the need for a mechanism that can handle the limited hospital resources is felt more than ever. Wireless Body Area networks are one of the technologies that monitor people's health remotely, thus avoiding unnecessary hospitalization and thus managing resource constraints. Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) face with energy limitations. The battery in WBANs has limited energy. However, it is not possible to replace or charge batteries in many of these networks. Therefore, it is needed to save energy and extend network life. One of the important methods that have been proposed for this purpose is sampling rate management-based methods. In this paper due to the efficiency of the sampling rate management, an efficient sampling rate method has been proposed. For this purpose to minimize unnecessary data transmission, Flat- Top Pulse Amplitude Modulated (PAM) method has been used. Then in order to make the signal from PAM suitable for data transmission, Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) method to digitize the pulses has been used. Finally, the results and outputs show that significant energy savings have been achieved. <p>A WBAN can be spread over a person's body, so; posing, dressing, moving of muscles, degree of heat of bodies as well as weather changes in general affect connections among sensors as well as desired point. Secondly, information collected via every sensor can be connected to a person's course of life; so, it can be considered as significant to guarantee that the collected information ought to be given to desired point competently. In this work, a critical cooperating communicating protocol to WBAN established on information has been suggested, called critical Data Transmission using Transmission Mode Selection (CD-TMS) method established for the architecture of star topology. In the beginning, we performed a studying, also we established a system model can be looked at according to channel los of path, effective transmitting possibility, as well as the out of work time possibility. Thirdly, relaying selecting can be used accompanied by CD-TMS, that lets just the most successful relaying take part in cooperating in a spread manner. Simulating as well as numeral outcomes illustrate that CD-TMS has the ability to develop the performing of a network under common terms comparing with direct transmission mode (DTM) IEEE 802.15.6 CSMA as well as benchmark.</p>
