A Controlled Clinical Trial of Sucralfate in the Treatment of Gastric Ulcer

Abstract: Sucralfate, a sulphated polysaccharide, which inhibits gastric pepsin has been used to treat gastric ulcer in a double-blind controlled clinical trial. One and a half grams of the compound were given three times each day, one hour before meals, for one month and change in the ulcer size was followed radiologically.
