Abstract: Magnesium alloy of grade AZ91D is utilized for a variety of applications in aircraft design and frames, as well as vehicle engine radiators, bumpers, and suspension components to reduce the weight of automobiles. This research compared the mechanical, corrosion, wear, and erosion resistance of pure Mg to that of AZ91 alloy.
