“…Parijat has a multitude of medicinal and economic applications due to biological activities like anti‐bacterial, anti‐viral, anti‐inflammatory, antioxidant, immunomodulatory, anti‐fungal, and anti‐ageing properties and is extensively used to treat skin conditions and arthritis. Parijat produces large amounts of secondary metabolites like alkaloids, terpenoids, saponins, phenolics, phytosterols, and tannins with various industrial applications (Parekh and Soni 2020; Dewi et al, 2022). Parijat has a high repurposing potential, but due to the lack of genetic and experimental studies, it has remained undervalued.…”

“…The chloroform extract of the flowers and a pure compound isolated from Nyctanthesarbortristis plant exhibit larvi-Cidal activity against Culex quinquefasciatus Say, a common filarial vector. The free radical scavenging potential Of the different extracts of leaves of Nyc-Tanthesarbortristis was evaluated invitro [18,37] f. Anti-Oxidant activity By employing diphenyl-picryl-hydrazy(DPPH) assay method. In this investigation The antioxidant which present in the plant Extracts reacted with DPPH, which is a Stable free radical and converted it to 1, 1-Diphenyl -1, 2-picryl, hydrazine which was Measured at 517 nm.…”

“…Specifically, Indonesia has many medicinal plants with various pharmacological activities, such as antioxidant, antimalarial, antiproliferative, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antidiabetic, anticoagulant, antiplatelet, antithrombotic, and many more. [4][5][6][7][8] Therefore, developing and discovering new antithrombotic agents is still needed from various sources, including Indonesian medicinal plants. One of the herbal plants widely known as an annual herb is Acmella oleracea (hereinafter abbreviated as AOE).…”
