A Comprehensive Numerical Investigation on the Mechanical Performance of Hybrid Composite Tidal Current Turbine under Accidental Impact

Abstract: The composite tidal turbine nozzle can be exposed to impact loads during maintenance or installation operations, which may result in invisible damage. Therefore, it is very important to analyse the induced damage in order to conceive hybrid composite nozzles with better resistance to damage.
