Abstract: Aim: The study investigates the microplastic degradation potential of mangrove rhizobacteria and their efficiency as a consortium. Methodology: Rhizosphere sediments were collected from three common mangrove species, Avicennia sp., Acanthus sp. and Bruguiera sp. in Kerala, India.
