“…L. Bywaters, conducted a double blind controlled 2 year study in early RA treated with prednisolone, initially 20 mg per day and then slowly tapered, or aspirin as controland was published in 1959. It showed clinical improvement and retardation of joint damage in the prednisolone treated patients [8].…”
