A Comparison between the Effectiveness of Norethisterone and Dydrogesterone for treatment of Irregular Menstrual Cycle

Abstract: Background: Abnormal uterine bleeding is defined as irregularities in the menstrual cycle involving frequency, regularity, duration, and volume of flow outside of pregnancy. Up to 1/3rd of women experience abnormal uterine bleeding in their life, with irregularities most commonly occurs at menarche and perimenopause due to disruption of the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis.
