A comparative study of the disease burden of COPD attributable to PM2.5 in China, Japan, and South Korea from 1990 to 2019

Abstract: Background: Particulate matter pollution (PM2.5) is a major cause of air pollution and an important risk factor for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The COPD disease burden situation in East Asia is severe, and China, Japan, and South Korea are the three largest economies in East Asia.
