A Comparative Study of Intravenous Ondansetron, Granisetron and Ramosetron for Prevention of Postoperative Nausea and Vomiting in Patients Undergoing Caesarean Section

Abstract: BACKGROUNDNausea and vomiting after regional anaesthesia for caesarean delivery are common occurrences. Despite of high incidence of PONV in caesarean section, there are limited studies to compare antiemetic drugs. This study compares intravenous ondansetron, granisetron, ramosetron in patients undergoing LSCS with respect to efficacy in preventing PONV. Study Design-Prospective, observational study.
