A comparative study of intimate partner violence among U.S.‐born and foreign‐born Hispanic women

Abstract: Objective The purpose of this study was to examine the factors and prevalence rates associated with intimate partner violence (IPV) victimizations by nativity status among Hispanic women. Methods Data were pooled and analyzed from the 2010 to 2020 National Crime Victimization Survey. A total of 4309 Hispanic women who responded to the citizenship question were included in the final sample.
