Abstract:Zanthoxylum armatum also known as Timru and toothache tree. This is a sub deciduous aromatic, branched, scandent, or erect shrub or a small tree that grows to 6–7 meter in height and belongs to the Rutaceous family. This plant is common in the hot valleys of the Himalayas from Jammu to Bhutan, Nepal, and Pakistan.
