In the digital era, the protection of sensitive data transmitted over the Internet, such as credit card information, is paramount. This study introduces an innovative system that enhances data security during internet transmission by synergizing steganography and cryptography. The proposed method employs a two-stage process: encryption followed by concealment. Initially, secret text data is encrypted using an evolved form of Morse code, converting it into ciphertext. Subsequently, this ciphertext is discreetly embedded within a cover image utilizing the least significant bit (LSB) technique, a method renowned for its subtlety and efficiency in data hiding. The effectiveness of this novel system was evaluated by comparing its performance with existing benchmarks. The chosen test case involved embedding encrypted data within a Baboon image. The results demonstrated a notable improvement of 2.596% over the baseline, affirming the system's efficacy. A critical aspect of this approach is the high quality of the resultant stego image. This quality is instrumental in ensuring the covert nature of the embedded data, thereby significantly reducing the likelihood of detection during internet transmission. Key elements of this study include the development of a more sophisticated Morse code encryption algorithm and the optimization of the LSB steganography technique. These advancements contribute to the system's robustness, rendering the encrypted and hidden data virtually undetectable and inaccessible to unauthorized entities. The integration of these two techniques represents a significant stride in the realm of digital data security, offering a dual-layered defense mechanism against potential cyber threats.

In response to the growing need for secure digital communication globally, this research delves into an innovative strategy for enhancing data transmission security through steganography. This inventive approach involves the integration of the conventional Least Significant Bit (LSB) method with Zstandard (Zstd) compression to elevate the quality of stego images. The study carefully explores how the synergistic use of LSB and Zstd contributes to an improved equilibrium between embedding capacity and visual quality in stego images. This hybrid methodology capitalizes on the efficiency of Zstd in reducing file size, thereby facilitating more effective data concealment using LSB. The experimental outcomes showcase a notable 51.2% increase in embedding capacity, a 4.70% elevation in PSNR value, accompanied by a substantial 51.03% decrease in MSE value. Additionally, SSIM values hover around 0.007%, indicating a perceptually minimal difference between the original and steganographically modified images. These compelling results underscore the efficacy of the proposed method, highlighting its proficiency in preserving and enhancing the quality of stego images generated through the embedding process. This research signifies a significant stride in the realm of secure digital communication, demonstrating a promising fusion of traditional LSB with advanced Zstd compression for optimizing digital image steganographic.

In the recent couple of years, due to the accelerated popularity of the internet, various organizations such as government offices, military, private companies, etc. use different transferring methods for exchanging their information. The Internet has various benefits and some demerits, but the primary bad mark is security of information transmission over an unreliable network, and widely uses of images. So, Steganography is the state of the art of implanting a message in the cover objects, that nobody can suspect or identify it. Therefore, in the field of cover steganography, it is very critical to track down a mechanism for concealing data by utilizing different blends of compression strategies. Amplifying the payload limit, and robustness, and working on the visual quality are the vital factors of this research to make a reliable mechanism. Different cover steganography research strategies have been recommended, and each adores its benefits and impediments but there is a need to foster some better cover steganography implements to accomplish dependability between the essential model of cover steganography. To handle these issues, in this paper we proposed a method in view of Huffman code, Least Significant Bits (LSB) based cover steganography utilizing Multi-Level Encryption (MLE) and colorless part (HC-LSBIS-MLE-AC) of the picture. It also used different substitution and flicking concepts, MLE, Magic matrix, and achromatic concepts for proving the proficiency, and significance of the method. The algorithm was also statistically investigated based on some Statistical Assessment Metrics (SAM) such as Mean Square Error (MSE), Peak Signal Noise Ratio (PSNR), Normalized Cross Correlation (NCC), Structural Similarity Index Metric (SSIM), etc. and different perspectives. The observational outcomes show the likelihood of the proposed algorithm and the capacity to give unwavering quality between security, payload, perception, computation, and temper protection.
