A Colorimetric Paper Sensor Based on Self‐assembled Nanocomposite Pd−Pt@hemin‐rGO/CNTs‐COOH for the Detection of H2O2

Abstract: Nanocomposite enzymes are attracting intensive attention worldwide. In the present study, a novel colorimetric H 2 O 2 paper sensor was developed based on a new type of nanocomposites composed of PdÀ Pt nanoparticles, hemin functionalized reduced graphene oxide (hemin-rGO) and carboxylated carbon nanotubes (CNTs-COOH). The proposed nanocomposites show a high peroxidase-like activity. It provides a sensitive platform showing a linear response toward H 2 O 2 in the range of 0.05-500 μM with a determination limit… Show more

“…They have several desirable properties, including a large surface area, a large porosity, a tuneable pore structure, and a composition that can be altered according to the requirement. [12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20] More reaction sites, strong physical and chemical adsorption ability, and a high surface-to-volume ratio are just a few of the essential features that can be attributed to the aforementioned characteristics. Therefore, MOFs are promising candidates for using in electrochemical devices, specifically as electrode materials.…”
