There have been some neuroanatomical studies on the primary and secondary projections of the olfactory system in salmonids (Northcutt and Davis, 1983;Bazer et al, 1987;Anadón et al, 1995;Matz, 1995) but no comprehensive studies of the connectivity of the salmonid telencephalon.
