Abstract:To further understand the specificity of muramyl dipeptide (MDP) sensing by NOD2, we evaluated the compatibility of synthetic MDP analogues for cellular uptake and NAGK phosphorylation, the pre-requisite steps of intracellular NOD2 activation.
