A Clinically Neglected Topic: Risk of Suicide in Transgender Individuals

Abstract: Transsexual individuals present a high risk of suicide, particularly during adolescence. This finding may be considered a sign for taking action to prevent suicide when working with transgender individuals, particularly during adolescence.
