ResumoNa presente pesquisa busca-se compreender a relação entre biopolítica e sexualidade. Partindo da afirmativa de Michel Foucault, de que o sexo é o problema econômico-político da população, analisa-se em que medida o dispositivo de sexualidade colabora para a apropriação do sexo pelo biopoder. A pesquisa se faz por meio dos textos de Michel Foucault e bibliografias correlatas, apresentando-se a perspectiva do sexo não como alvo de repressão, mas de produção, resultado de um poder produtivo e da atuação dos dispositivos de segurança sobre a população.
