A Challenging Case of Sertraline - Induced Bruxism

Abstract: We describe a case of sertraline-induced bruxism. Different medications were tried to manage bruxism, including buspirone, gabapentin, quetiapine, and clonazepam. Quetiapine gave the best result in treating bruxism in our patient, but its side effects, mainly weight gain, were intolerable. Bruxism was resolved by stopping sertraline and switching to escitalopram.
