“…The specific energy of a tank filled with liquid ammonia is about two times higher than a tank filled with hydrogen at 700 bar. 7,8 Ammonia has had a profound global impact since the discovery of its synthesis from hydrogen and nitrogen by Haber and Bosch, now called the Haber-Bosch (H-B) process, which requires high temperature and pressure.
