“…While these studies provide valuable insights into Latinx immigrant experiences and coping strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic, they do not fully capture the intersectional and multidimensional coping experiences of immigrant women within the syndemic context of structural oppression and the COVID-19 pandemic. Notably, these studies lack the depth provided by perspectives from direct service providers working at community-based organizations (CBOs), who, due to their established relationships and trust within immigrant communities, offer additional insights and means of understanding how individual coping and resilience interplays with available resources, structures, and systems ( Suva et al, 2022 ).
