Abstract:SUMMARY
Maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY) is a clinically heterogeneous group of monogenic diabetes characterized by onset at a young age and an autosomal dominant mode of inheritance. Notably, MODY accounts for 2%-5% of all diabetes cases, and its distinction from types 1 (T1DM) and 2 (T2DM) diabetes mellitus is often challenging.
