A Case Report of Takayasu's Arteritis with Traction Retinal Detachment

Abstract: Purpose: To report a rare case of traction retinal detachment and retinal ischemia in inactive Takayasu's arteritis at ophthalmologic clinic. Case summary: A 23-year-old woman presented with a floater, photophobia, and visual loss in her right eye one week prior to visit. She had no other systemic disease, such as diabetes mellitus or hypertension, or previous ophthalmic abnormalities except for a tumor in the adrenal gland. We found bilateral retinal ischemia and traction retinal detachment in the right eye o… Show more

“…Atom focusing with an optical lattice with regard to nanostructure creation has been extensively analyzed by several researchers. [6][7][8] However, it is increasingly possible to create optical potentials with exotic lattice geometry [9][10][11][12] and depth profile, 13 enabling versatile nanostructure creation methods. With these new vistas for manipulating atoms comes the need to examine atomic dynamics in diverse optical lattices.…”
