Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is a common complication during assisted conception treatment, mostly seen in patients with ovarian hyperresponsiveness such as polycystic ovary syndrome, especially in post-invitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) pregnancies.
