A case report of Capnocytophaga canimorsus meningitis with failure of ceftriaxone therapy

Abstract: Background: Capnocytophaga canimorsus is a gram-negative zoonotic organism that has the potential to cause devastating human infection. Historically, treatment with beta-lactams including penicillin and ceftriaxone has been effective.
