Abstract: Tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) is the rapid disintegration of a malignant tumor treated with anticancer drugs or radiation, causing electrolyte abnormalities such as elevated uric acid levels, elevated potassium and phosphorus levels, and decreased calcium levels.
