A case of schwannoma in the pterygomandibular space

Abstract: Schwannoma is a benign tumor derived from the Schwann cells. This tumor is relatively rare in the oral and maxillofacial region, and schwannoma in the pterygomandibular space is extremely rare. This report describes a case of schwannoma in the pterygomandibular space. A 58-year-old woman presented with swelling and discomfort of the lateral oropharynx on the right side.
