“…None of the cases showed melanocytic colonization in the area of porocarcinoma in this study. The association with reactive syringofibroadenomatous hyperplasia was seen more commonly in porocarcinomas (27.3%) than in SCCs (13.0%), although the combination of syringof ibroadenomatous hyperplasia and SCC is well‐known in general …”

“…Reactive eccrine syringofibroadenomatosis, which is microscopically characterized by anastomosing thin epithelial strands and cords with ductal structures in a fibrovascular stroma (Fig. ), is likely to reflect another reactive change in the eccrine glands that is believed to represent eccrine gland hyperplasia rather than metaplasia . It has been described in association with several conditions, including SCC, lichen planus, bullous pemphigoid, burns, trauma, and ulcers.…”

“…In 1997, French5 suggested reactive ESFA as the fifth subtype of ESFA that appears to result from eccrine ductal remodeling associated with numerous entities. It has been reported in association with chronic skin ulcers, burn scars, lepromatous neuropathy, venous stasis, bullous pemphigoid, erosive palmoplantar lichen planus, peristomal dermopathy, or nevus sebaceous678. Here we suggest first report described one case arising from long-standing exfoliative dermatitis.…”
