A Case of Pleomorphic Adenoma of the Tongue

Abstract: :Pleomorphic adenoma is the most common benign tumor of salivary glands. Pleomorphic adenoma derived from minor salivary glands most commonly occurs in the palate. However, to the best of our knowledge, reports of pleomorphic adenoma on the tongue are extremely rare, with only 24 cases including the present case. The patient, a male in his 40s, had an encapsulated mass, about 20mm in diameter, on the front part of his tongue.
