The available data about MASC is sufficient enough to diagnose it with no need to investigate the ETV6-NTRK3 translocation. Although high-grade malignancy and distant metastases were rarely reported, a rapt attention should be paid both to the nature of this tumor and to the indicated close follow-up of such cases, especially when necrosis, increased mitotic activity, and other classic caveats are conspicuous. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
