Abstract:Dumping syndrome is a common complication of bariatric surgery. A high clinical suspicion of hypoglycaemic events is required as the symptoms mimic early pregnancy complaints. Diagnosis and treatment of dumping syndrome remain a challenge in pregnancy. Thus, diet modification remains a mainstay of management. This case report discusses dumping syndrome in a post-bariatric surgery mother who presented hypoglycaemia symptoms in the primary care clinic.
