Abstract: Hypertriglyceridemia is a metabolic condition with multifactorial etiology that may cause life-threatening complications, such as pancreatitis. In pregnant women, hypertriglyceridemia may be secondary to physiological changes during pregnancy or may be exacerbated by medications.
