Abstract:Hypertriglyceridemia is an emerging risk factor for atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease and pancreatitis in the developing countries like India. It can be familial or acquired. Hypertriglyceridemia associated with hyperglycinemia and carnitine deficiency is rarely seen.
